Made between 1961 and 1973 by the Military and Sport Film Studio for the Civil Defense Alliance, these educational films on ABC (atomic, biological, chemical) warfare featured prominently in a campaign to educate the public in ways of protecting itself against weapons of mass destruction.
This series of nearly eighty short films showing the absurdity of the Cold War era, have been digitized by OSA. War historian Miklós Horváth and historian Krisztián Ungváry will present the historical background of the films, followed by a performance and film screening by the action group Kaos Camping.
