From Husitství – zivý zdroj národních tradic (Hussitism - Living Fountain of Our National Traditions) by Josef Macek, Praha, 1952

Tábor, the revolutionary stronghold.  This is where for the first time in history the spark of the foolish idea of the classless society came through, where this idea was first implemented.  Tábor was the place of revolutionary preachers who incited the impending battles with the class enemy, with the exploitative feudal order.  (page 6)

The revolt of the working class completed the struggle of the Hussites to create a better and fairer society.  Ideals, in fact dreams, became an exact scientific image of a society without exploited workers, where, as Tabor Hussite preachers put it,  all the people will be brothers in the socialist and communist society we want achieve and which we build in the present.  (page 20)
